It's Raining Cupcakes - "Finalist will be flown to New York City along with one parent for bake-off!" I yelled. "Sophie, we could go to New York! The Statue of Liberty. The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Radio City Music Hall!
It's Raining Cupcakes by Lisa Schroeder isn't all sweet as cover would lead you to believe. This book tell the readers about conflict between daughter-mother that the daughter, Isabel wish to travel and fly all over the world. She's dying to get out of Oregon. But the mother have an afraid instinct by being on the flight. Her parents move her across town away from her best friend to an apartment above the shop they eventually name "It's Raining Cupcakes" and hope she'll be excited about the new change.
In this sweet treat by popular teen author Lisa Schroeder, Isabel discovers that maybe it's not about where you go in life as much as it is about enjoying the view from wherever you are. Nevertheless, Isabel is very young which is twelve-year-old girl to become an independent person and do everything by herself.
So, I suggest you to read this book and explore how twelve-year-old girl discovers her world. This book is actually the children's book but I still read it because of the sweet story line and contents.
